I installed mine, FINALLY. it was hell because it's hot outside, but i grinded down the bracket instead of cutting it. When i started my car, the battery volts read higher, so that charge is stronger. Wire crimping is kinda hassling a lot of mechanics were scared to do it

I bought this release button kit and it was not bad at all and it works good so far lol When I bought the car it didn't have a trunk key and previous owner tied a pull rope to the emergency trunk open latch. I hated that shit pulling a rope to open trunk. I just happened to run across this release button and gave it a shot and was not bad at all to install. Mine is a 2005 so I didn't have to do all that extra crap for an 07-08, if that would been the case I just stuck to pulling the rope from back seat lol. But yeah it works good (so far) on my 05. I would recommend it, don't know if I would if I had to do all that extra stuff for 07 -08.

This is dead wrong. First of all, parallel to the bottom of the control arm is a broad statement. You don't give a reference point to go off of, or anything to measure this out from properly. The next, problem is; when you get that part figured out, and adjust the shim stackup, the tie rod position in regards to the lines you set up don't match anymore. If I'm not mistaken, to properly adjust bump steer, you need to mark the control arm assembly somewhere to indicate where it sits at desired height and weight on wheels. Then you would need to articulate the suspension through its whole working range with the steering full lock left and right while measuring bump steer changes, until you find the most ideal height for the shim stack. At that point, you would perform alignment on the steering as usual. Am I missing something?
